Shires joined Seedcopa in 2018 with more than a decade of SBA 504 experience providing commercial real estate and equipment financing to the region’s small to mid-sized businesses. Since then, Seedcopa has expanded to include SeedcoDE serving Delaware, and Shires has played a key role in securing Seedcopa’s record loan volume in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 with significant growth in SBA 504 borrowers and lending partners, as well as Seedcopa’s team of loan specialists.

A certified Economic Development Financial Professional, Shires has completed rigorous training in business credit, loan packaging procedures, real estate finance analysis and deal structuring. During her 16 years in the industry, she has been responsible for all phases of U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans, including business development, processing, closing and servicing. She is a regular speaker at community and industry events highlighting access to capital for small business owners, including round table discussions and group training sessions. Shires holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Widener University.
